Time taken is 10 seconds
Suppose speed of train be x kmph

Relative speed = \frac{Length of train}{Time taken}

\Rightarrow (x + 3) = \frac{\frac{240}{1000}}{\frac{10}{60 \times 60}}

\Rightarrow (x + 3) = \frac{24 \times 60 \times 60}{100 \times 10}

[Since 1 km = 1000-meter, 1 hr. = 60

\Rightarrow (x + 3) = 86.4

\Rightarrow x = 83.4 kmph
