Given that the diameter of the hemisphere is

, the total height of the trophy is

24.5 cm

and the weight of

metal is

1.2 g

.
We have the following formulae,
Volume of cylinder =

π r 2 h

Volume of hemisphere =

23 π r 3

The total volume of the trophy is the sum of the Volume of cylinder and the Volume of Hemisphere.
Height of the cylinder will be,
24.5-10.5
=14
Volume of trophy,

= π r 2 h + 23 π r 3

= π r 2 h + 23 × r

= 227 × 2122 × 14 + 23 × 10.5

= 7276.5 cm 2

The total weight of the trophy will be,

= 7276.5 × 1.2

= 8731.8 g
