Detailed Solution

Let say fA=f and fB=340 ,

A and B produces 5 beats.

So, either f1=340+5=345 Hz

or

 f2=340-5=335 Hz

When fork A if filed, its frequency increases, by 3 Hz (assume).

So, new frequency of fork A is

either f1' =340+3=343 Hz

or       f2' =335+3=338 Hz

As per question , the new frequency of A should have beat frequency of 2 beat/s with B. This is satisfied by  f2'.

Hence, original frequency of fork A is f2=335 Hz
