For second resonance,  l2=3λ4

 l2l1=3λ4λ4

or    λ=2l2l1    …(i)

As, velocity of sound wave is given as 

v=vλ

where, ν is the frequency. 

 v=v2l2l1                   …(ii)

Here, ν = 320 Hz

          l2=0.73m,l1=0.20m     (Given)

Putting the values in Eq. (ii), we get 

v=320[2(0.730.20)]=2×320×0.53

=339.2ms1339ms1.
