Initial velocity= u = 0 m/s, 

Final velocity = v = 80 kmph = 22.22 m/s, 

Time taken = t = 20 s

Distance travelled, s = ?

By the first equation of motion, we have

v = u+at

22.22 = 0 + a x 20

a=22.2220=1.11 m/s2

acceleration = 1.11 m/s2

By the second equation of motion    

s=ut+12at2

    =0×20+12×1.11×202

      = 0 + 242 

       = 242 m

Distance Travelled = 242 m
