It is given a water tank of length 3 m, breadth 2 m and depth 1 m.
The formula for calculating the volume of the cuboid is given by:
V=l×b×h   …. (1)
Here, l   , b   and h   are the length, breadth, and height of cuboids.
Computing the volume of the tank by substituting l=3   , b=2   and h=1   into the formula 1  ,
The volume of the tank = 3m×2m×1m     The volume of the tank = 6 m 3  
The formula for converting cubic meter to liter is given by;
1 m 3 =1×1000litre  
Thus, the amount of water contained in the tank is 6000 litres.
