(b) If you and your friends are given the choice of eating in a plastic plate or a banana leaf platter at a party, which one would you prefer and why?

The answers are as following:

(a) The leftover food can be reheated and eaten again or reused in making any other dish if not rotten. But if smells and tastes weird, or has been left uncovered for a long time, it should be converted into compost by adding it into a pit in the soil which can later be used as manure for gardens.

(b) If we are given a choice to eat in a plastic plate or a banana leaf platter at a party, we should always choose banana leaf as it is a biodegradable material and will cause no harm to the environment.
