(b) In-situ conservation is defined as the conservation technique in which the organisms are protected in their natural environment. E.g., Biosphere reserve.
Ex-situ conservation is defined as the conservation technique in which the organisms are moved from their natural environment to the locations specifically designed for protecting them. E.g., Zoological parks.
