⇒Area of sector AOB = 231 2 c m 2  
Now, for sector COD, r = 7cm and θ=30°.
⇒Area of sector COD = 30 360 × 22 7 ×7×7

⇒Area of sector COD = 77 6 c m 2  
Thus, area of shaded region = 231 2 c m 2   77 6 c m 2  
Area of shaded region = 3×23177 6  
Area of shaded region = 616 6  cm2
Hence, the area of the shaded region is 308 3 c m 2  .
