The given triangle is an equilateral triangle with its edge length equal to 2 times the Radius of the circle.

2×1cm

= 2 cm

Area of triangle = 34 ×  (edge length)²

=34 × 22

=3

Area of one of the sectors = θ360o × π R²

= 60360 × π × (1)2

= π6 cm²

Area of 3 such sectors = 3  × π6  cm²

= π2  cm²

Area of shaded region = Area of the triangle - Area of 3 sectors

=3-π2 cm²
