Detailed Solution

Given is a quadrilateral with AC as one of its diagonals.
Question ImageWe know that the sum of any two sides of the triangle is greater than the third side.
In ΔABC   , AB+BC>AC          …… (i)
Adding CD on both the sides of (i), we get,
AB+BC+CD>AC+CD              …(ii)   In ΔACD   ,
AC+CD>DA  .                             …(iii)              From the equations (ii) and (iii) we get,            AB+BC+CD>DA   .
So, the relation between AB+BC+CD   and DA is AB+BC+CD>DA  .
Hence, option 1 is correct.
