Detailed Solution

Question ImageIt is given that,
P:Q=2:1 Suppose the ratio constant = x
So,
P = 2x  and ∠Q = x
Also, in the cyclic quadrilateral ABCD, we have
ADC =135 From the cyclic quadrilateral property
B=180-ADC
B=180-135
B=45  Since, in a linear pair, sum of angles =180.
ADC+ADP=180.
 ADP=180-ADC
 ADP=180-135
ADP=45  Now, in ΔAQB from angle sum property of triangle
A+Q+B=180
A+x+45=180
A=180-x+45
A=135-x..(1)  In ΔADP,
We know that,
A triangle's exterior angle = product of its diagonal interior angles.
Exterior angle A=ADP+P
A=45+2x(2) Equate the value of angle A from equation (1) and 2
45+2x=135-(Taking terms of x to one side)
3x=135-45 3x=90 x=30 So the angles,
Q=30
P=2x=60 Hence, option 3 is correct.
