Detailed Solution

Given, absolute refractive index of medium = R1 = 2
Absolute refractive index of medium =R2= 1.5
Speed of light in medium = 2×108m/s
We know that,
R2 =speed of light in vacuumspeed of light in medium B
R2=1.5
Speed of light in vacuum = 1.5 × Speed of light in medium B
        = 1.5 × 2 ×108 m/s
        = 3×108 m/s
Also,
R1=speed of light in vacuumspeed of light in medium A
R1= 2 Speed of light in medium = (Speed of light in vacuum)2
              = 3×1082×108 m/s
           = 1.5×108  m/s
