Detailed Solution

According to the 2011 census, the female literacy rate in India is 65%. The percentage of literate people in a given age group is known as the literacy rate. Every economy in the world may be seen to be affected by literacy. After India gained independence, Article 45 of the Constitution's Directive Policy made it mandatory and universal for all children between the ages of 6 and 14 to have an education. The 86th Amendment Act to the Indian Constitution was passed in the Fundamental Rights in 2002. India's literacy rate has increased from 18.33 per cent in 1951 to 74 per cent, according to the 2011 Census report. In 1951, the literacy rates for men and women were 27.16 per cent and 8.86 per cent. Today, they are 82.14 per cent and 65.46 per cent, or 65.5 per cent.
