According to the Third law of motion “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction”.This action and reaction act on different objects.
Let us understand this statement, “Action and reaction act on different objects” using an illustration. Consider the example of launching a rocket. The chemical reaction occurring inside the rocket leads to the release of hot gases through the nozzle with great force (action). The equal and opposite force of these hot gases moves the rocket upwards (reaction). Action acts on the ground and the reaction acts on the rocket. So it shows action and reaction acts on different objects in opposite directions.
