Detailed Solution

The Indus emerges from Attock, flowing from Baltistan and Gilgit.
One of the largest rivers in the world is the Indus river, and the total length of the river is 2900 kilometers. The river rises in Tibet, near Lake Mansarovar, and flows towards the west. It then enters the Ladakh district of Jammu and Kashmir. Indus flows through Baltistan and Gilgit and finally emerges from the mountains at Attock. It also flows southward and reaches the Arabian Sea. Rivers like Satluj, Ravi, Chenab, and the Jhelum join the Indus near Mithankot in Pakistan.
