Detailed Solution

After the end of World War II, a tribunal was set up at Nuremberg to persecute the Nazi war criminals.
During the Second World War, while Hitler was in power, genocide and persecution of what he termed inferior races took place on a large scale in all the German-occupied regions. The ultimate aim was to make the population a pure breed of Nordic Aryans, which were considered to be the superior race by Hitler. So, the truth came out in front of the whole world when the war ended. An international Military Tribunal was set up at Nuremberg to take action and persecute Nazi war criminals for crimes against humanity, peace, etc.
