Detailed Solution

Air moves from an area of high pressure to an area of low pressure.
Air that moves horizontally between areas of high and low pressure generates wind. The wind moves more quickly from a region of high pressure to a region of low pressure when there is a greater pressure difference between the pressure zones. Because of the temperature difference, hot air expands and gains pressure before moving to a lower-pressure location. As a result, air goes from high pressure to low pressure.
