Air pollution can be controlled by less burning of fossil fuels.

Burning of fossil fuels releases many green house gases like carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. Minimizing the use of fossil fuels will reduce the release of these harmful gases in the atmosphere. Hence,  the use of private cars and motor vehicles on roads can be reduced and other such means to minimize burning of fossil fuels can be adopted.
