Alexander belonged to the Macedonia region in Europe around 2300 years ago. He had had dreams of conquering the world since he was a boy. He desired to be the conqueror of the world. The Macedonian rulers conquered several kingdoms and continents, including Egypt, West Asia, and parts of South Asia. Initially, he also conquered the Kabul valley. Taxila's and Abhisara's monarchs both submitted. However, the battles of Jhelum and Sakala made Alexander realise the futility of his campaign, and he marched back to Babylon.
