Detailed Solution

Alluri Sitaram Raju belonged to Andhra Pradesh.
Alluri Sitaram Raju was a tribal revolutionary from the Gudem Hills in Andhra Pradesh. He was inspired by Gandhiji, the Non-cooperation movement and the meaning of Swaraj. Moreover, he was an environmental lover and never favoured cutting trees in the forest. However, the colonial government also enclosed large forest areas from the tribal people, so nobody could enter these areas for grazing or cutting wood. Thus Alluri Sitaram initiated a Gorilla militant movement against the colonial misrule. The Gudem rebels attacked police stations and also attempted to kill British officials. But Raju was captured and executed in 1924.
