According to gas laws, we have an equation  that is

P1V1T1=P2V2T2

When T is doubled and P is reduced to half and then volume will become

pvT=pv22×2T

Then V2=4V

 According to Charle’s law at constant pressure for a fixed amount of gas volume is directly proportional to temperature. So, when we increase T by 4 times then V of gas also increased by 4 times.
