Generally oxime functional groups are going to exhibit geometrical isomerism in the form of syn and anti-forms due to the presence of the hydroxyl group on the nitrogen. Because of the presence of the hydroxyl group two types of geometrical isomerism called Cis and Trans and syn and anti are going to exist. When hydrogen and -OH groups are on the same side of the double bond, then we get a syn isomer. When they are on opposite sides of the double bond, we have an anti isomer.
