Detailed Solution

An accused is a person who is tried by the court for a crime.
In a criminal justice system, the key players are as
1)      The police: It files the FIR and investigates the cognizable offences recorded by a person.
2)      The Defence Lawyer: He presents before an open trial, the witnesses and the evidence in favor of the accused person.
3)      The Prosecution lawyer: He presents the witness and the evidence against the accused persons.
4)      The Judge: An accused person is tried by an open court in public view. It is the judge who has the supreme authority to decide whether the accused is guilty or not and therefore, gives his judgment accordingly.
