Length of side of the square that is cut from each corner = 24 cm

∴ Length of the container = [90 – (24 + 24)] cm = 42 cm

Breadth of the container = [90 – (24 + 24)] cm = 42 cm

Thus, the container so formed is in cuboidal shape whose volume is given by (length ×breadth ×height).

Volume of the container = Length × Breadth × Height

= (42 ×42 ×24) cm3
