Detailed Solution

An appointed minister has to take membership of parliament within six months. A minister loses their position if they are absent from the legislature for six months. If a non-member of the parliament is appointed as a minister, they must run for election to one of the houses of parliament within six months. He stops being a minister after six months. In other words, a nominated member can be appointed as a minister, but within six months, This member must be elected to either house. Any Indian citizen who meets the requirements to be an MP may be appointed as a minister, but within six months of their appointment, the minister must run for election to the Lower House or the upper house.
