Detailed Solution

The cost of electricity involved in a month of 30 days at 3 Rs per unit is 27
Given:
Power = 60 Watt
Everyday Use  = 5 Hours
Total Days = 30
Cost Of electricity per unit = 3.00 Rs.
Total amount to be paid in 30 days
The days can be calculated in total hours used in 30 days
Hence, total hours =Days × Everyday Use
             = 30× 5 = 150 Hours
Convert, 60 Watt into Kilowatt =601000
By Formula,
Unit= Kilowatt × Time (in hours)
U=601000 ×150
U= 9
Hence, the total unit used is 9.
By Formula,
Cost= Unit× Rupees per unit
Cost= 9 × 3.00
Cost=27 Rupees
Therefore, the amount to pay in 30 days is 27 Rupees.
