An electric path that begins from the positive terminal of a battery/cell and terminates at its negative terminal without any break, then that circuit is called a closed circuit.
A circuit is said to be closed when each part of the circuit is made of a conductor, and on plugging in a key or on being complete, current flows through the circuit. In a closed electric circuit, the current flow from the positive charge to the negative charge particles. This circuit works continuously  ON the state position.
