An electrostatic precipitator filters dust particles and other fine particles from gas. Since it filters dust particles, it helps in purification of air. As the electrostatic precipitator is not able to generate high voltage, the particulate matter is not being able to get filtered. So the particulate matter is released into the atmosphere and it causes inflammatory respiratory disorders.
