Detailed Solution

An erect and enlarged image can be formed only by a concave mirror.
When an object is placed between the focus and the pole of the mirror, it forms a virtual image that is erect and enlarged in size. In contrast, a convex mirror forms a diminished and erected image irrespective of the position of the object. On the other hand, the image formed by the plane mirror is always virtual and of the same size as that of the object. Thus, an erect and enlarged image can be formed only by a concave mirror.
