Increase in blood volume switches off the osmoreceptors and suppresses the release of ADH.

The osmoreceptors in the human body sense high blood pressure and stimulate hypothalamus to secrete ADH. This hormone, in turn stimulates principal cells of distal tubules of nephron to reabsorb water. Thus, the blood volume as well as pressure raises.

Increase in blood volume stimulate the atrial wall to secrete ANF.

TSH is secreted by adenohypophysis to stimulate the thyroid gland.
