Detailed Solution

An object is placed at 2F1 from a convex lens. Then, the position at which its real image is found is at  2F2.
Question ImageAt 2F2, the image develops. When an object is positioned at 2F1, an image of it is created at 2F2, and this picture is real, inverted, and the same size as the original object. Following the guidelines for light rays travelling through a lens will yield the desired image. Let AB be the object placed at 2F1. Consider a light ray coming from point A and passing through the optical centre of the lens, it passes undeviated. Consider another light ray coming from A, parallel to the principal axis, it passes through the focus of the lens F2. These two light rays intersect each other at point A' and the resultant image A'B' will be formed at 2F2.
