$\mathrm{PE} = \mathrm{mgh}$

Where, m = mass of the body, g= gravity's acceleration and h= height of the body

Given that:

mass= 1 kg, Potential energy = 2 J and g= 10 m/s_²

Since PE = mgh

Height,  $\text{h= }\frac{\mathrm{PE}}{\mathrm{mg}}= \frac{2}{1 \times 10}= 0.2 \mathrm{m}$
