Animal tissue can be classified into how many types?

A group of animal cells together form an animal tissue. These tissues may have different structures, functions, and origins. 

Animal tissues are classified into four types.

1. Epithelial tissue: They form the protective covering and inner lining of the body and organs.
2. Connective tissue: They support and bind other tissues in the body.
3. Muscular tissue:  They help in movement and locomotion and also support the bones and other structures.
4. Nervous tissue: They possess the ability to initiate and transmit nerve impulses.
