Detailed Solution

Anmol has a chart paper measuring 90cm × 40cm, whereas Abhishek has one which measures 50cm × 70cm. Anmol’s chart paper will cover more area on the table by 100 sq. cm.
Given that,
For Anmol’s chart paper:                             Length = 90 cm, breadth = 40 cm.
For Abhishek’s chart paper:
Length = 50 cm, breadth= 70 cm.
First, we will find area of Anmol’s chart paper,
Area of Anmol’s chart paper = l × b
= 90 × 40
= 3600
Area of Anmol’s chart paper is 3600 sq. cm
Now, we will find area of Abhishek’s chart paper
Area of Abhishek’s chart paper = l × b
= 50 × 70
= 3500
Area of Abhishek’s chart paper is 3500 sq. cm.
Hence, the chart paper of Anmol will cover more area on the table than that of Abhishek by 100 sq. cm.
