Apart from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, the President constitutes the Parliament. The Parliament also elects the President in addition to the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The session of Parliament may be called to order and adjourned by the President. The time between the two sessions shouldn't be longer than six months. He has the authority to call a joint session of the Parliament. The Lok Sabha may be dissolved before the end of its current term, and new elections may be called by the President at the Prime Minister's request. He has the authority to speak to both houses of Parliament simultaneously or separately.
