Detailed Solution

Aqueous solution of Sulfur dioxide SO2 decolourises an acidified K2Cr2O7 solution and on passing hydrogen sulfide in the solution gives white turbidity of  PbSO4(lead sulphate)

Acidified potassium dichromate solution is decolored by sulfur dioxide. Oxidizing sulphur dioxide produces sulfuric acid. Chromic sulphate is formed by reducing potassium dichromate. The solution orange colour changes to green.

3SO2+K2Cr2O7+H2SO4K2SO4+Cr2SO43+H2O

Sulfuric acid is produced by heating sulphur dioxide and hydrogen peroxide together, then cooling the mixture.

SO2+H2O2H2SO4

A white precipitate of barium sulphate that is insoluble in dilute HCl is produced when barium chloride is introduced to sulfuric acid.

H2SO4+BaCl2BaSO4+2HCl

White turbidity is produced after passing H2S through the solution because of the production of Sulphur.

2H2S+SO22H2O+3S

Hence correct option is A
