Area sown more than once in an agricultural year plus the net sown area is known as Gross cropped area. India's all-out topographical region is 329 million hectares. Of this, 195 million hectares are gross edited regions, and 141 million are net irrigated regions. Then again, the net inundated region is just 65.3 million hectares. The rest of the land is rainfed. This addresses the all-out region planted once and at least a couple of times in a specific year; for example, the region is considered commonly as there are swings in a year.
