4)      The United States joined the Second World War: It was on December 8 1941. At first the US was reluctant to join the second World War due the aftereffects of the First World War. When Japan supported Hitler and they bombed US base at Pearl Harbour, US made decision to participate in the war. In May 1945 the war ended with Hitlers defeat.
