Let the contribution of Arundhati, Nithya, Navya be x, y, and z respectively.
Then

x + y + z = 62, 000 ⋯ ⋯ ⋯ 1

The amount contributed by Nithya,

y = 38 × x ⋯ ⋯ ⋯ 2

The amount contributed by Navya,

z = 12 × x ⋯ ⋯ ⋯ 3

Substitute equation (2) and (3) in (1):

x + 38 x + 12 x = 62, 000 11 x + 38 x + 12 x = 62, 000

L.C.M. of 1, 8 and 2 is 8.

1 × 8 1 × 8 x + 3 × 1 8 × 1 x + 1 × 4 2 × 4 x = 62, 000 8 x 8 + 3 x 8 + 4 x 8 = 62, 000 8 x + 3 x + 4 x 8 = 62, 000

15 x 8 = 62, 000 x = 62000 ÷ 158 x = 62000 × 815
