Detailed Solution

Aryabhatiyam was written by Aryabhatta. Great mathematician-astronomer Aryabhata authored texts on both mathematics and astronomy. In addition, Aryabhatta wrote the Sanskrit-language work titled Aryabhatiyam.
His Aryabhatiya overviews mathematics and astronomy used in contemporary Indian mathematical study. Aryabhatiya, Dashgeetika, and Arya Siddhanta are the books that Aryabhata wrote. He lived in the Gupta Period. His work on pure mathematics covers subjects like finding the square and cube roots, geometrical figures and their properties, arithmetic progression problems on the shadow of the gnomon, quadratic, linear, and indeterminate. Aryabhata probably knew that a pi is an irrational number because he calculated its value to the fourth decimal place.
