Detailed Solution

Aryabhatta benefited humanity by introducing the zero digit to the world.
During the Gupta era, Aryabhatta lived (475–550 CE). He was a mathematician and astronomer from India. At Chandra Gupta II's court, he was there. He wrote a Sanskrit book called Aryabhatiya or Aryabhatiyam, which is divided into four sections and contains 121 lines on astronomical and mathematical issues. He is credited with creating zero for human use. The Arabs adopted this method of counting, which later spread to Europe. He also included information on trigonometry, place value system algebra, quadratic equation, compound interest, and the approximation of Pi, which is 3.14159. He also contributed to astronomical subjects like the motions of the solar system, the occurrence of eclipses, and the heliocentric theory.
