A woman ovulates one secondary oocyte in each reproductive cycle (about one month) from menarche (around 13 years) to menopause (around 50 years) excluding during periods of pregnancy and lactational amenorrhoea. So, approximately 400+ ovulations occur during her reproductive lifetime.
