Let a mole of CH4  and b mole of C2H4  be present
  Average molar mass of mixture  =a×16+b×28a+b=20
 4a=8b orab=12 or2a=b
 On reversing mole ratio b mole of CH4 and a mole of C2H4 be present
 Average molar mass of mixture  =b×16+a×28a+b=20
      =b×16+2b×28b+2b=723 (Now,ba=12) =24g  mol1
