Detailed Solution

Babur ascended the Throne of Ferghana in 1494. The first Mughal emperor, Babur, ruled from 1526 to 1530. When he was just 12 years old in 1494, he took the throne of Ferghana. However, Uzbegs attacked his ancestral throne, and he was compelled to abdicate. After years of wandering, Babur ultimately took Kabul in 1504. Some Indian nobility persuaded Babur to conquer the Lodi Empire in the year 1520. When he intended to launch his first offensive against the Lodi Empire, the nobles vowed to support him and work with him closely. Babur launched repeated attacks towards India, but he was forced to retreat each time and head back to Kabul. However, he defeated Delhi's Sultan Ibrahim Lodi in 1526 at Panipat. Babur was able to take Delhi and Agra primarily due to this battle, also known as the First Battle of Panipat.
