Detailed Solution

Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay wrote Vande Mataram.
When people began to feel connected to one another and realised that they were all citizens of the same country, nationalism increased. A country's identity is typically represented by a person, a thing, or a piece of music, which aids in forming national identity. However, only in the 20th century, with the development of nationalism, did Bharat Mata become the visual expression of the Indian identity. Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay first made the image. In the 1870s, he wrote "Vande Mataram" as an anthem for national pride. It was then included in his book Anandamath and became well-known in Bengal during the Swadeshi movement.
