Base of a tent is a regular hexagon of perimeter 60cm. Then the length of each side of the base is 10 cm.
Given that perimeter of the hexagon = 60 cm.
According to the given condition,
Base of a tent is a regular pentagon and the regular pentagon has 6 sides.
Then,
Perimeter of the pentagon = 6 × Length of each side
⇒60 =  6 × Length of each side
∴ Length of each side = 606= 10 cm.
Hence, each side of the regular hexagon is 10cm.
