Detailed Solution

In Punjab, the Sutlej and Beas rivers converge. A river is the Beas River in northern India. The Sutlej River in Punjab is reached after the river travels roughly 470 kilometres from its source in the Himalayas in the central Himachal Pradesh region of India. The Beas finally joins the Sutlej river after 470 kilometres of travel, not far from the Kapurthala area of Punjab. The Uhaul, Luni, Bain, and Banganga are the main tributaries. Veda Vyasa, a character from the Indian epic Mahabharata, is credited with generating the river Beas from its source lake, the Beas Kund. Before Veda Vyasa, the Vipasa River was referred to as Saraswati.
