Detailed Solution

Begar has been banned by the Constitution under Article 23.
Right against Exploitation in Article 23 of the Indian Constitution prohibits forced labour or begar. It states that no person shall be forced to work against their will whether they are offered to pay a minimum wage or not. Secondly, it says that any person working below the minimum wage is considered a bonded labourer. Many communities in our society are forced to work in factories, mines, or hazardous conditions without payment. Their wages are often less than the minimum wage if they are paid. In both situations, the workers are considered forced into labour, exploitation of their will and rights. Also, this right banned human trafficking, i.e., the buying and selling of men and women for illegal and immoral activities.
