Detailed Solution

Belgium and India have a Federal system of government whereas Sri Lanka has a Unitary system of government.
India and Belgium are countries which have a federal form of government whereas Sri Lanka has a unitary form of government. A federal government is one in which there is a division of powers between the central government and the constituent states whereas in a unitary form of government, there is no division of powers. There is centralisation of powers in a unitary form of government and the union is given the supreme authority. Belgium and India are federal countries. Powers are divided between their states and the centre which are clearly defined in the Constitution. However, Sri Lanka has no division of powers and thus has a unitary form of government.
